February Focus: Building Confidence for Spring Testing
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we move through February, we would like to share an important update regarding state testing, which will begin in April. In the coming weeks, teachers will focus on reviewing essential skills, building testing stamina, and helping students grow in confidence.
At school, we are encouraging students to give their best effort on all questions, ask for help when needed, and practice positive self-talk. We remind students that challenges are a natural part of learning and that perseverance helps build confidence and success.
Families can support this work at home by encouraging effort, maintaining consistent routines, and reinforcing positive messages such as, “You can do this,” and “Your best effort matters.” Your support plays a vital role in helping students feel prepared and confident.
